Arizona assitant Archie Miller will be Dayton's next head coach, a source confirmed to CBSSports.com late Saturday.

An official announcement is expected Sunday.

Miller is the younger brother of Arizona coach Sean Miller. The N.C. State graduate has also worked under Herb Sendek at Arizona State and Thad Matta at Ohio State. He's 32 years old.

Miller is replacing Brian Gregory.

Gregory left Dayton to be the head coach at Georgia Tech.

Nice hire, and I hope it's a good fit for both Miller and Dayton and that he has success there. And if the guy is successful, let's hope they're able to keep him if/when one of the high-profile schools backs the Brink's truck up and opens the door. I like to see guys stay, build their own programs and legacies.

What a hire by Dayton. Can't bash this at all. I was so ready for them to hire Bruiser Flint, that would have been a great day.
