Purdue at #23?  Come on Parrish, where's the love? I know they haven't played any tough teams yet, but I don't think they are that far behind Minnesota, Ohio St. and Michigan St. with that tenacious "D". Doesn't matter though, as they will have plenty of time to prove their worth over the grueling Big Ten season.

Last year it was Syracuse that everyone overlooked. This year it appears to be Minnesota. I don't care much for the Big-10, but this is the conference to watch this year. The scrum about to take place at the top will be wild!

Can't deny the Gophers for what they've accomplished thus far.

They beat a UNC team that won't be ranked and a WVU team that wasn't and won't be ranked.  Justify a #7 ranking.

I don't quite get Texas either, but Memphis should always be ahead of Kentucky on general principle.Wink

As for West Virginia, well, who would you have ahead of them at this stage of the season?

I agree with Paul completely. I'm not sold on Minnesota either. They deserved to be ranked, but not in the top 15. Lets see if they can keep this up, and not have the locker room problems that they've had the past few seasons.

Texas and Memphis ahead of Kentucky?  Please.....  West Virginia at 18 for coming in 2nd?  Minnesota at 7 for beating obviously overrated UNC?  Do you not care about your credibility?????

Tubby's got the Gophers looking like a contender come March. This is going to be a very interesting season, for sure.

Biggest surprise for me is Washington. Lorenzo Romar is a great coach, but I think the Huskies may be even better than what you have them ranked. 13th maybe?

Texas at 9 is ludicrous.  Have you ever even watched Rick Barnes coach?

Texas is too high, W. Virginia is too low. Purdue whould be higher. And I'd consider Louisville.

BTW, I'm a fan of this. Not being bias either! Can't deny the Gophers for what they've accomplished thus far.
