Yes. I watched them trail from the tip to the final horn against a decent but unspectacular Wichita State team. Doesn't help that they're never on TV because they're always playing someone mediocre or worse.

UNI is a pretty good team, but to be in the top 25 you have to beat somebody good. And UNI hasn't done that.

Don't even bother to say the "no quality wins, and a loss to DePaul" well a DePaul team that wasn't as good as the one UNI lost too almost beat your #3 team. Well, then you're asking him to lie. Because UNI doesn't have any quality wins, and they lost to DePaul (who, despite putting a scare into Syracuse, remains an awful team - when they start scaring good teams on a regular basis and beating them occasionally we can talk about them not being awful), and that's why they aren't (and shouldn't be) ranked. They have no wins over a Pomeroy top 50 team, just two against the top 80. I could see it if they win two this week, though even then it's a tough call (at some point you do have to give a team credit for putting together a lot of wins against marginally difficult opposition, but you have to be pretty consistent against mid-level teams to make up for not facing the level of competition that the power-conference teams are facing).

Put another way, of the teams he does have ranked, how many do you think would have made it through UNI's schedule to date at 19-2 or better? I'd say all of them, and I'd be surprised if most of them even lost two. And there are at least a few teams not ranked that I would expect to have gotten through at 19-2.

This is a joke, how do you have a job doing this. You clearly have a hatred for UNI, I already knew this and didn't expect you to have them on this. You made them your "sure to be an upset" which didn't happen even with Panthers missing a player that scored 18 points the last time. Don't even bother to say the "no quality wins, and a loss to DePaul" well a DePaul team that wasn't as good as the one UNI lost too almost beat your #3 team.

Also how do you have New Mexico ahead of BYU. BYU is far better than the 19th best team in the country. Plus New Mexico won't do much in the Tournament, Alford is not a good enough coach to win a big game.

Has to be:

N Iowa, Butler, Siena and BYU no?
Does Gonzaga count? If so, I'd put them in over Siena.

As to Purdue at #6: What's not to get about it? Not to say that their resume stands out significantly ahead of WVU or Texas, but they're fairly similar, particularly with WVU: "good" road loss, "good" home loss, so-so road loss; based on Pomeroy rankings, WVU has one more top 100 win but Purdue's are generally higher. Texas's home loss is a little worse than the other two but their bad road loss isn't as bad; on the whole, their wins are a bit lower in quality, though, and there's the issue that people seem to have figured them out (or their free throw woes are rearing their ugly head at the worst possible times, perhaps). WVU and Purdue are close enough that if they're going to be next to each other you may as well use head-to-head as the tiebreaker, and Texas is a little bid behind both (especially since WVU and Purdue have picked up a couple decent road wins each and Texas has just one against Iowa State).

NORTHERN IOWA is 19-2 and is getting everybody's best shot in the Missouri Valley Conference, won a tough road game short handed yesterday.  They would be in my Top 25 somewhere.  GO PANTHERS!!!
GP, who are you Top 4 Mid Majors to make a run at the Sweet 16 this year?

Purdue at #6 is a mystery to me.
