Notable game from Tuesday: North Carolina beat Michigan State 89-82 in a game billed as a rematch of last season's NCAA tournament final despite the key players involved, at least on the UNC side, being different. Ed Davis led UNC with 22 points. Larry Drew had 18. UNC improved to 7-1. Michigan State is 5-2 (other loss to Florida)
Notable performance from Tuesday: Lance Stephenson missed three times as many shots as he took but still finished with a nice stat line. The Cincinnati freshman got seven points, 11 rebounds and seven assists in a 94-57 win over Texas Southern. Stephenson is now averaging 10.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
Notable game scheduled for Wednesday: The Big Ten/ACC Challenge wraps with what could be the deciding game -- Florida State at Ohio State. The Seminoles are 6-1 (only loss to Florida). The Buckeyes are 5-1 (only loss to North Carolina). Tip-off is set for 9:30 p.m. ET.

What You Need To Knowyou know what he meant.... Some of you people just can't wait for gary or one of these other writers to foul up so you can point it out, what are you? My 6th grade English teacher? Take in the story, and comment on that, or maybe just keep it to yourself
