Class of 2011 standout to make decision Monday

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Brad Beal, one of the elite prospects in the Class of 2011, is expected to announce his college decision at a press conference Monday. The 6-foot-3 guard from St. Louis will pick between Florida, Kansas, Missouri and Illinois. Scout.com ranks Beal No. 10 in the Class of 2011.

Christmas cuts list: Rakeem Christmas, ranked No. 3 in the Class of 2011, has cut his list of possible college destinations to five schools, according to Scout.com. Those still involved are Florida, Oklahoma, Georgetown, Texas and Florida International. Christmas is a 6-9 forward who teams with Michael Gilchrist (ranked No. 1 in the Class of 2011) on the summer circuit.
Bryant claims three schools are "standing out": Johnny O'Bryant, ranked No. 10 in the Class of 2011, told Scout.com on Monday that he's still considering a host of schools, but that three are "standing out." Those three, he said, are Ole Miss, Memphis and Auburn. O'Bryant is a 6-9 forward from Mississippi.
